Heather guides each client on their individual journey toward healing and improved emotional functioning. She has more than ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families within schools, assistance agencies, and in private practice.

Heather builds strong therapeutic connections with clients through compassion, empathy, and a genuine concern for their well-being. With a strength-based and mindful approach, she can help clients develop and utilize new skills to reclaim peace and stability in their lives. She values families and works hard with caregivers to promote youth's development of problem solving skills, healthy coping techniques, and improved communication. Heather utilizes trauma-informed interventions to guide client's from the trauma experience (whether past or present) through survival mode toward healing.

Heather is particularly adept at guiding clients towards emotional growth and developing healthy coping skills, reducing anxious thoughts and behaviors, and processing past/present trauma. She provides mental health counseling in person at the Manhattan location and via Telehealth services.
