Kim Lapo

Kim is a licensed specialist clinical social worker who helps hurting children and adults find peace and overcome the pain which trauma has caused in their lives. Kim focuses on helping clients manage unwanted feelings and thoughts which get in the way of living the life they dream of. She welcomes challenges and approaches clients’ problems using a solution-focused lens to help clients find ways to solve problems standing in their way.

Kim has experience working with children and their families in difficult situations through community mental health, reintegration and foster care, family preservation, and the school system. She is a certified clinical trauma therapist and is passionate about serving clients who have experienced trauma in their lives and want to move forward.

Kim provides services in the Belleville office and occasionally in Manhattan. She is in-network with BCBS, KanCare, and Nebraska Heritage Health. Kim also provides services on a self-pay and out of network basis. Kim welcomes children from 3 years through age 18 and adults of all ages.
