Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can help people confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being, and it can also increase positive feelings such as compassion, self-esteem, love, courage, and peace.

Couples Therapy

The focus of couples therapy is to improve communication and set boundaries by building or rebuilding a foundation for the couple. This process helps to restore the relationship to a better and healthier level of functioning.

Online Counseling

Online Counseling (Telehealth therapy) increases accessibility for clients who lack adequate transportation and those who live in rural, remote areas. As long as a client has a way to connect to the internet, telehealth enables them to access mental health services.

Play Therapy

Play therapy can help children communicate, explore repressed thoughts and emotions, address unresolved trauma, and experience personal growth. It is widely viewed as an important, effective, and developmentally appropriate mental health treatment for children.

Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Assessments

We offer ESA Assessments in the Manhattan and Belleville offices. These assessments require one to six sessions to allow the provider to fully assess whether the individual qualifies for an ESA, to provide appropriate education about ESA laws and regulations, to recommend follow-up services, and to write housing and/or air travel letters.

Home-based Therapy

Home-based therapy takes place in the client’s home rather than in the therapist’s office for people who would otherwise have a difficult time accessing therapy. In some cases, our therapists will offer in-home sessions when this appears to be the most beneficial form of treatment, whether access is of concern or not.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is offered to help you address a variety of issues and reach a range of therapeutic goals. Some of the topics addressed include substance abuse and other addictions, domestic violence, divorce, childhood abuse, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and issues surrounding eating and body image.
