Bethany is a Master of Social Work student at Washburn University and has been with Courser Lapo for nearly three years, serving in a variety of roles, including adult case management and social media coordination. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and additional studies in nutrition and fitness at Kansas State University, she brings a holistic and well-rounded perspective to her work.
Her clinical interests include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, life transitions, spirituality, and stress management. Bethany is passionate about supporting clients by addressing the whole person—integrating routines, nutrition, physical activity, spirituality, and coping skills into the therapeutic process.
She also has a strong commitment to working with children and teens. Having grown up with adopted siblings who experienced the foster care system, Bethany developed a deep compassion for youth navigating challenges. She strives to create a safe and supportive space where children and teens feel heard, valued, and understood.
Bethany currently serves clients in Manhattan, Belleville, Concordia and through Telehealth. She views therapy as food for the soul, a place to be nourished, restored, and supported on life’s journey.
