We all have difficulties in life that make us want to reach out for help. Those difficulties can take on many forms, such as depression, anxiety, lack of motivation, etc. While some will struggle alone, others will gain peace and calm by reaching out for help. Because she knows that it can feel intimidating to make that first step, she strives to provide an inviting, warm, and safe space. Charla uses mindfulness, psycho education, cognitive, dialectical behavioral, and emotion/solution focused therapy to process the feelings you face and reconstruct a mindset that will set you on a higher path. Together, you can find a solution and put it into action.
Charla doesn’t like to ask her clients to open up without knowing anything about her... so "to introduce myself: my husband and I have created a non-traditional, blended family, and while this comes with some hardships, it is one of the most rewarding things in my life. I love to cook, entertain, and consider myself a free spirit who has a wide variety of interests. On weekends, we enjoy camping, boating, and anything outside. I have a pup named Gracie who is in training to become a therapy dog and will eventually join me in our sessions."
Charla feels great when she can help people reach the highest potential for themselves, and she looks forward to meeting you!
