Heather is a Clinically Licensed Social Worker who has more than ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families within schools, assistance agencies, and in private practice. It is her passion to meet client's where they are at right now while exploring their impactful past/present life events and emotions. Heather strives to help each client heal their emotional injuries so they can live their happiest and healthiest lives.
Heather builds strong connections with clients through compassion, empathy, and a genuine concern for their well-being. Heather is known for being actively engaged with client's during each session and is not shy about sharing insights. With an eclectic approach by Heather, clients learn and utilize new skills to reclaim peace and stability in their lives. She values families and will explore parenting skills with caregivers to promote youth's development of problem solving skills, healthy coping techniques, and improved communication within those relationships. Heather is specialty trained in the areas of Anxiety, Attachment-Based Family Interventions, First Responders, Perinatal, Relational Difficulties, School-Related Issues, and Trauma.
Heather provides mental health counseling in person at the Manhattan location and via Telehealth services.
