Jordan Ferrari is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has a strong desire to help others. After serving 12 years in the Army, Jordan decided that her true passion was in the social work field, so she transitioned to the Army Reserve and began her career as a Therapist. Jordan has over five years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy with adult and adolescent clients. She has served clients in a variety of settings including the Army, community corrections, psychiatric residential treatment facility, outpatient clinic, and private practice. She also has experience working with clients in foster care who have experienced physical, sexual, and emotional trauma. Through her work, Jordan hopes to help diminish the stigma towards seeking mental health treatment.
Jordan is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work so that she may have a platform to address the needs of Veterans and Service Members. She is also pursuing a certification to become certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and hopes to earn a certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) soon.
Jordan understands that all clients have different needs and desires and works with each client to develop individualized interventions. She is available to assist clients in developing skills needed to live a fulfilling life through many different therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and solution focused therapies.
Jordan serves clients out of the Manhattan office and via Telehealth.
