It can be a hard decision to consider therapy and even harder to make that first appointment. Kelly wants to help make that step easier and be a true advocate for you along the way. It is a primary goal to help you overcome any barrier that keeps you from receiving needed care, hope, and healing- and it all starts with you and your therapist building a strong therapeutic relationship. Kelly has been practicing for seven years and offers a very collaborative therapeutic process. Kelly will meet you where you are in life and help you build insight and control over important therapy goals that you identify and work on together.
Kelly offers a strength-based, narrative-focused therapy approach and has experience working with individuals and families. She is an affirming, inclusive, and trauma-informed therapist. It is important to her that you are seen and heard and supported through any transition you may be struggling with. Kelly has experience working with sexual and domestic violence/trauma, abuse and neglect, anxiety and depression, phase of life with relationships, career, academics, as well as several years experience working with foster care and adoption issues. Kelly works with children, adults, and families for therapy services in the Manhattan area and offers office based and telehealth therapy services Monday through Saturday.
