Maddie Noyes is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker who is passionate about normalizing the need for a little help navigating the ups and downs of life and working alongside others to listen, validate, and empower them as they heal. Maddie specializes in helping individuals process, cope with, and heal from traumatic experiences that have become "stuck" or have been too overwhelming to face alone. She is experienced in addressing trauma rooted in attachment, upbringing, relationships, and abuse (emotional, physical, sexual). Maddie also has experience working with mood disorders, grief and loss, and academic or college-related stressors. She works well with adults, college students, and teenagers.
Through her lived experiences and professional education, Maddie recognizes the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship and the bravery in seeking help to work through difficult experiences. She is committed to tailoring treatment to the individual needs of each client by using a pool of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral, Cognitive Processing, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to address trauma.
Maddie serves clients out of the Manhattan office and via Telehealth.
