Megan Wanamaker is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker with experience working with children and adolescents in foster care and schools, as well as their families. She is passionate about helping clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and many other mental health issues. Megan believes in empowering clients and helping them develop healthy coping through various techniques including but not limited to mindfulness and Cognitive Behavior Therapy
(CBT). She continues to research and complete trainings in order to improve and better inform her practice. Megan is also a gender-affirming therapist and has experience working with clients that are exploring their identity as well as the changes experiences while transitioning.
Megan provides therapy services in the Manhattan office and through telehealth for preteens and up. "
