Tanya is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the local educational setting the past ten years working with students, families, staff, and community service agenices. Tanya is passionate about mental health and with her personal and professional experiences, knows firsthand how difficult it is to navigate our personal lives when our mental health is compromised. Tanya uses a variety of therapeutic approaches such as trauma-informed approach, strengths-based approach, solution focused and systems theory.
Tanya connects with her clients through empathy, understanding and a non-judgemental approach and meets the client where they are at in each session. Working on ensuring the client feels safe and welcome is of the utmost importance.

Tanya provides mental health counseling in person at the Manhattan location and via Telehealth services.
